If you've searched our fabrics and still can't find exactly what you are looking for, you can use the following charts to help you purchase your own fabric. You can shop at a retail fabric store, or order fabric from any company on the internet and have it shipped directly to our workroom.
Easy Fabric Yardage Calculator:
Finished length of curtains + 16 inches divided by 36 = number of yards required.
Add 1 extra yard (or one vertical repeat of the fabric) per pair if using a large print fabric.
For example, if you wanted a pair of curtains that were 90" in length, then 90+16=106 divided by 36 = 2.94 which you would round up to 3 yards of fabric per curtain, 6 yards total for the pair.
If you were using a large print fabric and wanted the print to match up on each panel, then you would include an extra yard of your fabric for each pair of panels. So in this case, you would send us 7 yards of fabric.
For Extra Wide Panels:
Our Standard Plus width requires 1.5 widths of material per panel. Therefore, you would take the yardage required above and multiply it by it by 1.5. In the example above, 3 yards of fabric were needed per panel. Because 3 x 1.5 = 4.5, we will now need 4.5 yards per panel at this width.
For Double Wide panels you will multiply your yardage by 2. So, if we use the example above, we will now need 6 yards of fabric to produce a single double wide curtain (or 12 yards for a pair of double wide curtains).
